Hi everyone! Finally getting back into a normal routine after a whirlwind couple of weeks. OnStage Local in Atlanta was truly amazing and I couldn’t resist using some of the things we received there in last night’s card. So without further ado – ta da! Here’s the video.
As I mention in the video, while many of the products are not yet available for purchase (coming soon to a catty near you!), this card can be made with items you already have on hand. Below is the supply list:
Delightfully Detailed Laser Cut Paper (new in June)
Delightfully Detailed Note Cards & Envelopes (new in June)
Peaceful Reflection Stamp Set (new in June)
Climbing Orchid stamp set
Whisper White card stock
Fresh Fig card stock
Fresh Fig Stampin’ ink pad
Have fun with this one! See y’all Saturday afternoon!
It’s my last day in Texas but before I head out to the airport I wanted to post the video from our Tuesday Beginner Series Facebook Live session. Working with supplies from the March Paper Pumpkin kit we created a lovely Mother’s Day card. If you weren’t able to join us, you can view the video below.
This kit has so many possibilities for alternative cards that it was hard to come up with just one! I hope you enjoy it.
To order future Paper Pumpkin kits, just click on the Shop Now icon in the upper right or you can click here.
Just a reminder that there will not be a Saturday Anything Goes Facebook Live this week as I will be attending the Stampin’ Up! OnStage local convention. So I will see you all next Tuesday. Ta for now!
Howdy all from bright and sunny Texas! This is my last night here before heading home tomorrow and it’s also time for our Tuesday night Facebook Live Beginner series. Last week we explored the 5th anniversary Paper Pumpkin and it is a WOW! Tonight I thought we would continue on with Paper Pumpkin but this time it’s all about using the supplies to make an alternative to the ones they show us how to make. I think you’re going to like it so please join me on my Facebook page – Cards by Wynnie – at 8 pm ET/7 pm CT. You won’t want to miss it!
Here is a sneak peek of what we will be creating in tomorrow’s Saturday Anything Goes series at 3 pm EDT/2 pm CDT on my Facebook Page – Cards by Wynnie. Hope you will join me!
Thanks to everyone who joined last night’s Facebook Live Tuesday Beginner Series. We took a look at the March 5-year Anniversary Paper Pumpkin kit. I really love this one – the images are so soft and feminine. And the ideas for alternatives to the project instructions are just poppin’ so stay tuned next Tuesday for more from this kit.
If you were unable to join us last night, here is the video I uploaded to YouTube.
You can check out other video tutorials in previous posts or by going to YouTube and plugging in Cards by Wynnie to access my channel. While you are there, would you be kind enough to like and subscribe? I would really appeciate it and it’s another way for you to be notified of new video tutorials.
Talk to y’all later (yes, I am still in Texas LOL)!
Howdy from Texas y’all! I’m down here visiting and it’s a beautiful day for a Saturday Anything Goes crafting series. Here’s a sneak peek of what we will be making today:

Just look for the post of me going live towards the top. Hope to see y’all there!
Welcome back to the Tuesday Beginners Series. Tonight we discuss how using just one color on top of white can really add impact to your card. We also discuss a bit of color theory.
This card uses the Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper. It is double sided and has all of the colors in the 2017-2019 In Colors group. I used Tranquil Tide for the sample card, but we switch to Powder Pink for the card we make tonight. It also features the Basket Weave Dynamic Textured Impressions embossing folder – free with a $50 purchase during Sale-A-Bration which ends 3/31/18.
Whisper White card case – 4-1/4” x 11” scored and folded at 5-1/2”
Whisper White card stock scrap to cut sentiment panel
Basket Weave Dynamic Textured Impressions embossing folder
Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper
Powder Pink Finely Woven Ribbon

Hi y’all! It’s time for another Facebook Live Beginners Series tonight and wanted to give you a sneak peek of the card we will be making. It is more complex than the first few we have done but still very easy. We will be covering using an embossing folder, die cutting and inking techniques. It’s going to be a fun one!
Hope you will join me over on my Facebook Page at 8 pm EDT – just click here to get to it. Talk to you then!
I love making cards, but sometimes creativity takes me in a slightly different direction which was the case last night and this morning. The linear part of my brain decided to do some co-mingling with the crafty side and the result was…tags! I had forgotten how much fun these can be and some of our DSP just naturally lends itself to being – well – linear!
Take for instance, the Just Add Color DSP. I wanted to share some with my daughter-in-law while I was in Texas and cutting up some of the designs in this series is a bit challenging unless you give in to its linearness (is that even a word LOL). When all was said and done, this little beauty just popped right up begging to be made into a tag.
I started with a base of Whisper White cut to 3-1/4 x 6-1/4. This was covered by some paper from the Birthday Memories DSP series and feeling somewhat radical, I punched the hole in the corner rather than the center. Next, I used alcohol markers to color in the strip of Just Add Color panel, pulling in colors from the polka dot paper. I fussy cut the strip so that I could pop up one half of it on top of the other with dimensionals to give it depth. This panel was then glued to the tag using Tombow mono glue. Wink of Stella was applied to the coral bits and the fish were given a coat of Glossy Accents. Tranquil Tide ribbon was the finishing touch. What a fun blast of summer!
